Keepers to keep

I have a problem. I like my pottery too much to sell or give it away. As I make more pots I will have be more selective about what I keep. Maybe as I make more similar pieces, I will be able to add it to the sell or give shelf that I am trying to stock with the idea of a future sale and Christmas. Not to have the pressure to produce pottery and keep all that I like (for now) is quite a luxury. I am lucky to have such a "problem".

  1. Sometimes it feels like pots are children, and it is hard to part with any of them. I've found that the more I've grown as a potter, I'm eager to get rid of (most of) the last batch because I learn so much each time that the enthusiasm to move on to the "next idea" wants to clear space to try something new.
